2 YACHTS IN AROUND BRITAIN

With great excitement we are expecting a second HR 49 for the Around Britain

BETTY D - HALLBERG RASSY 36

This is our mid-range yacht which is small enough for ease of handling, yet big enough to go anywhere, anytime. Since her launch in May 2002, she has encountered North Sea Gales, crossed shipping lanes in dense fog and anchored in secluded Cornish bays. She spends her days cruising the English Channel on charter or training. Rigged for ease of sailing with in-mast mainsail, roller furling genoa and self tailing winches, this yacht is a firm favourite for all.

CAS LASS - HALLBERG RASSY 34

Since her launch in September 2002, this yacht has been racing at the front of the DEVON Sailing fleet. Students love her ease of handling. The fully battened main provides a turn of speed just when needed, yet her strength and build quality provide reassurance when punching into a Force 7. Two can handle her with ease and even with seven on board, she has a degree of comfort usually only found on much larger boats.

FRANGI - HALLBERG RASSY 49

Few boatyards enjoy global acclaim for building long distance cruisers like Hallberg Rassy does. Frangi was launched in 1989 when the HR 49 was the comapny's flagship – she is without doubt a blue water classic.

Whether cruising in the Caribbean or sailing around Britain, this is the yacht for you, as she is the ultimate in style and comfort. For those seeking an adventure, crossing the Bay of Biscay or even the Atlantic, there are few yachts that can match Frangi for dependability.
