2 YACHTS IN AROUND BRITAIN
With great excitement we are expecting a second HR 49 for the Around Britain
DARTMOUTH BY CAR
We think these are the best routes into Dartmouth depending where you are coming from: • Exeter & Plymouth - A38 • Totnes - A381 • Torquay - A380 (via lower Ferry) So what happens when you arrive in Dartmouth? There are parking restrictions from May to September but we can provide parking permits at £5 per day. From October to April, there is unrestricted parking along the South Embankment (adjacent to the Town Quay, where the yachts are moored).
DARTMOUTH BY TRAIN
Dartmouth's nearest train stations are Totnes (13 miles away) and Paignton (six miles and a ferry). A taxi is approximately £30 on Sundays and £20 at all other times. For train enquiries and bookings phone 08457 000125 or visit www.nationalrail.co.uk. Should you wish to pre-book a taxi for collection at Totnes station we can recommend BJ’s (01803 868078) and the Southwest Taxi Company (07803 126396). There are no buses from Totnes on a Sunday.
DARTMOUTH BY PLANE
Sadly there is no airport in Dartmouth but the local airports are Exeter and Plymouth and then we suggest a taxi from the airport.
